What this cable delivers

This two-pack supplies USB C to C cables rated for USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 operation. Each lead handles up to 100W power delivery at 5A, 20Gbps data throughput and 4K video at 60Hz with HDR 10-bit colour. The 6.6ft length suits desk or sofa setups where the charger or dock sits farther from the device.

Build integration and freedoms

The male-to-male connectors plug directly into any USB-C port that supports Power Delivery, DP Alt Mode or Thunderbolt 3 and 4. No extra adapters or docks are required to charge a laptop, move large files to an external SSD or drive an external monitor. One cable replaces separate charging, data and video leads, reducing cable count on the desk.

Thermals, noise and power in use

Passive construction means no fan noise and no active cooling to manage. The cable carries up to 100W (20V/5A) without exceeding its rated current, so it stays within normal operating temperature during extended charging or sustained 20Gbps transfers. Heat dissipation is handled by the cable jacket itself under typical indoor conditions.

Questions about this item

Does the 20 Gbps data rate hold up during long transfers to a Thunderbolt 3 SSD?

The cable is rated for 20 Gbps over USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 and works with Thunderbolt 3 drives, but sustained speed depends on the drive and host controller.

Will the cable get hot or draw more power when charging a laptop at 100 W for hours?

It delivers up to 100 W at 5 A; heat and power draw are determined by the charger and laptop, not by the cable itself.

What must my laptop’s USB-C port support to get 4K 60 Hz video through this cable?

The port needs DisplayPort Alt Mode; without it the video function will not work.
