Converts composite RCA video and audio to 1080P HDMI at 60Hz with PAL and NTSC support for Roku, VHS, VCR and Blu-ray DVD players
This LUOM converter cable turns a composite 3RCA CVBS signal into a 1080P HDMI output at 60Hz. It connects legacy sources such as VHS players, DVD players, or older consoles to a modern HDTV, monitor or projector. No drivers are required and the unit draws power from an external USB source.
The adapter only works in one direction, converting analogue composite video to digital HDMI; it cannot send an HDMI signal back to RCA inputs. Supported input standards are PAL, NTSC3.58, NTSC4.43, SECAM, PAL/M and PAL/N. The maximum output resolution is 1080P at 60Hz and 3D content is not supported.
The single specification that determines suitability is the fixed 1080P 60Hz HDMI output. If your display or capture device requires a higher resolution, a different refresh rate, or support for 3D signals, this converter will not meet that need.

The converter upscales the composite signal to either 720P or 1080P at 60Hz; choose 1080P for modern HDTVs and monitors to match their native resolution, or 720P if the display is older or struggles with 1080P.
The device outputs a fixed 1080P 60Hz HDMI signal, so the TV will upscale that image to its own panel resolution; expect a clean picture but not native 4K detail.
The converter delivers a standard 1080P 60Hz HDMI stream, which fits well within the bandwidth of any HDMI 1.3 or later port found on virtually all current displays.
