This 30 ft Toslink digital optical cable connects sound bars, TVs, game consoles and home-theatre receivers that have S/PDIF optical ports. The male-to-male connectors carry multi-channel Dolby AC-3 and DTS surround formats up to 7.1 channels for immersive audio playback.

Capacity and headroom: 5.1 to 7.1 surround

The fiber core transmits uncompressed PCM and compressed 5.1, 6.1 and 7.1 surround streams such as Dolby Digital Plus, DTS-HD, ADAT and LPCM without loss. Signal integrity holds across the full 30 ft length; longer runs would exceed the cable’s specified reach.
