Line-interactive UPS with 2000VA capacity, 1400W output, 4-minute full-load runtime, seven NEMA outlets, RJ11/RJ45/coax protection, and 2U rack/tower/wall mounting
Model PRO2000RT2U
The Minuteman PRO2000RT2U is a 2U line-interactive UPS that mounts in a rack, stands as a tower, or attaches to a wall. It delivers 2000 VA and 1400 W of battery-backed power from a 120 V AC input. Seven outlets include six NEMA 5-15/20R receptacles and one NEMA L5-20R receptacle. Data-line protection covers RJ11, RJ45 and coax connections.
This unit fits IT rooms and network closets that run on 120 V power and need only minutes of backup to ride through brief outages or trigger a graceful shutdown. The sealed lead-acid batteries are maintenance free and operate from 0 to 40 °C. Buyers who need extended runtime at full load should look at models with larger battery capacities or external battery options.
At the rated 1400 W load the batteries last four minutes; at half load they last fourteen minutes. This single figure determines whether the UPS can bridge your typical power interruption or allow enough time for an orderly shutdown. The surge rating is 960 joules and the input accepts 90 to 150 V AC at 60 Hz.
