Monoprice Inc. 105600 15 ft 3.5mm to 2RCA Stereo Cable

15 ft 3.5 mm to 2RCA stereo cable

This 15 ft stereo cable connects a 3.5 mm headphone output to dual RCA inputs on a home audio system. Heavy-duty coaxial construction with 22AWG conductors and individual shielding reduces EMI and RFI interference. The 12 mm by 6 mm cable diameter and 41 mm long connector housings make it suited for semi-permanent installations.

Replaces thin unshielded patch leads

Upgrading from basic unshielded cables is worthwhile when the run passes near power supplies, networking gear or other sources of electromagnetic noise. The heavier gauge and per-conductor shielding keep the signal cleaner over the full 15 ft length, so the improvement is most noticeable in fixed desktop or living-room setups.

Suits fixed PC or component-audio connections

Builders who need a permanent link from a computer sound card, phone dock or streamer to a receiver will benefit from the robust build. Users who want a lightweight cable for frequent plugging and unplugging or for portable headphone use should choose a thinner, more flexible alternative.
