Panasonic Toughbook CF-31 rugged laptop

The Panasonic Toughbook CF-31 is a fully rugged laptop built for field professionals who need a device that survives drops, shock, vibration and water ingress. It carries MIL-STD-810G, MIL-STD-461F and IP65 certifications and includes a digitiser pen and power adapter. Windows 10 Pro is installed in 32-bit or 64-bit configuration.

500 GB hard drive and 4 GB DDR3 memory

The 500 GB mechanical hard drive stores operating system images, documentation and local databases for offline work. Four gigabytes of DDR3 800 memory arranged as two 2 GB modules runs the 32-bit or 64-bit Windows 10 Pro environment and typical business applications. Heavy multitasking or large datasets will exceed the available memory headroom.

Verizon 4G LTE integrated modem

An integrated Verizon 4G LTE modem provides cellular connectivity wherever the carrier has coverage, removing dependence on Wi-Fi hotspots. The 13.1-inch sunlight-viewable XGA touchscreen with 1024 x 768 resolution supports pen input for signatures and forms in bright conditions. Buyers needing solid-state storage, more than 4 GB RAM or a different cellular carrier should consider other options.

Questions about this item

Will the CF-31 work with my existing 10/100/1000Mbps LAN dock?

Yes, the CF-31 includes a 10/100/1000Mbps LAN port so it will connect to your existing dock without an adapter.

How can I verify the touch digitizer is calibrated correctly after first boot?

Open the Windows 10 Pro calibration tool, tap the cross-hairs with the included digitizer pen, and confirm the cursor follows the pen tip across the 1024 x 768 XGA screen.

Does the box contain the Verizon 4G LTE antenna and a DDR3 memory module, or must I buy them separately?

The unit ships with the Verizon 4G LTE module installed, the digitizer pen, and the power adapter; the 4GB DDR3 800 memory (2 GB x 2) is already fitted inside.
