Fully rugged 13.1-inch touchscreen laptop

The Panasonic Toughbook CF-31 MK2 is a new fully rugged laptop built to MIL-STD-810G and IP65 standards for operation in harsh environments. It runs Windows 10 Pro on a 2.5GHz Intel Core i5 single-core processor with 8GB of DDR3 800 memory. The 13.1-inch XGA LED display offers 1024 x 768 resolution with touchscreen and digitizer pen input. Integrated Verizon 4G LTE and GPS receiver provide mobile connectivity for field workflows.

Check power and memory needs before ordering

The unit includes a power adapter but ships with a mechanical 160GB hard drive rather than an SSD. Memory is configured as two 4GB DDR3 800 modules filling both slots; any upgrade requires replacing the existing sticks. Wireless connectivity uses 802.11a/b/g/n WLAN and Bluetooth 4.0; verify these standards match your infrastructure. The 32/64-bit Windows 10 Pro licence supports legacy 32-bit applications if required.

Fits vehicle docks and field kits with legacy

Six generations of consistent docking compatibility let the CF-31 slide into existing vehicle mounts and port replicators without new hardware. The sunlight-viewable touchscreen and digitizer pen enable gloved operation while the rugged chassis survives drops, shock, vibration and blowing rain. Built-in 4G LTE and GPS free up USB ports otherwise needed for external modems or receivers. Gigabit LAN provides wired fallback when wireless coverage is unavailable.
