Spacious 5.25" Expansion Wallet

The Pendaflex expanding file wallet opens to 5.25 inches, holding up to 200 letter-size sheets per folder. The accordion-style sides create multiple compartments that keep paperwork sorted while staying compact when not full. A flap with cord closure secures contents during transport. The 3-pack supplies several wallets for separate projects or categories.

Capacity and Everyday Headroom

Each wallet handles bulky contracts, reports or project files without forcing pages into a tight sleeve. The 200-sheet capacity covers typical meeting handouts, client folders or quarterly archives. When the expansion reaches its limit, very thick binders or multi-year records will no longer fit and a larger storage box becomes necessary.

Replacing Single-Pocket Folders

These wallets replace flimsy single-pocket folders that tear or spill papers when carried. The jump is worth it when you regularly move documents between home, office and client sites and need a durable polypropylene shell that resists wear. They are not suited for archival storage that demands acid-free materials or fire-rated protection.

Questions about this item

Can these 5.25" expansion wallets sit next to standard letter-size folders in the same drawer without sticking out?

Yes, the accordion design keeps the profile compact when not full, so the wallets align with regular letter folders in a drawer.

How do I verify the cord closure is holding the 200-sheet capacity securely after I load it?

Pull the cord tight and tug the flap gently; if the flap stays sealed and the expansion gussets do not bow outward, the closure is working as intended.

The pack says three wallets — does each one include its own flap and cord, or are those separate pieces?

Each of the three wallets has an integrated flap and cord closure; nothing extra needs to be purchased.
