This SMA switch routes HDMI signals in either direction through three ports. It lets you connect two source devices to one display or one source to two displays, with only one screen active at a time. The unit draws power from the HDMI connection itself and requires no external adapter or driver installation. A single button on the enclosure toggles between the active input or output path.

4K Resolution and Cable Limits

The switch supports video up to 4096 x 2160 along with 3D and 1080P formats. To achieve 4K you must use HDMI 2.0 cables throughout the chain; HDMI 1.4 cables cannot carry that resolution. With standard AWG26 cables the link remains stable up to 5 m on each side, delivering 3.4 Gbps bandwidth for both audio and video. If only 1.4 cables are available, lower the source to 1080P.
