  • HDCP 2.2 compliance plays protected content from consoles and streamers
  • Transmits 1080P 3D video and DTS surround audio for immersive sound
  • Plug-and-play operation requires no drivers or software setup

One Input Two Outputs

This SMUGDESK 1x2 HDMI 2.0 Splitter takes a single HDMI source and distributes identical video and audio to two displays simultaneously. It supports 4K at 60Hz with HDR for high dynamic range visuals. The unit handles HDCP 2.2 protected content from consoles or streaming devices. No drivers are required for operation.

Suits Dual Screen Setups

Ideal for users needing the same image on two monitors, TVs or projectors for presentations, home theatre or retail signage. It transmits DTS surround audio alongside 3D and 1080P formats. Not suitable for buyers who want independent content on each screen or need to extend a desktop across displays. Anyone requiring more than two outputs should look at a different solution.

Check Source And Cables

Verify your source device has an HDMI output capable of the desired resolution and refresh rate. Ensure both display devices accept the same signal format for proper EDID handshake. Use certified HDMI cables rated for the bandwidth you need, especially for 4K 60Hz runs. Confirm the source supports HDCP 2.2 if playing protected media.

Questions about this item

What HDMI version must my source and both displays support to get 4K at 60 Hz through this splitter?

All three devices need HDMI 2.0 ports to pass 4K 60 Hz HDR video and DTS audio without downgrading the signal.

Will an older 1080P monitor work on one output while the other runs 4K?

The splitter mirrors the same resolution to both ports, so the 1080P display will limit the 4K screen to 1080P unless both screens accept the higher mode.

How can I confirm HDCP 2.2 handshake is active after connecting a Blu-ray player?

Protected 4K HDR content will play without a black screen or error message, showing the HDCP 2.2 link is established on both outputs.
