Mini DP to DP 1.4 cable for 8K workflows

This 6.6 ft cable connects Mini DisplayPort sources to full-size DisplayPort displays or the reverse. It carries up to 32.4 Gbps bandwidth and supports HDR with DSC 1.2 compression. Gold-plated connectors and an aluminium shell resist corrosion, while a cotton-braided jacket adds durability for daily carry.

Suits laptops and desktops with Mini DP

Users who need bi-directional 8K video between a compact port and a standard DisplayPort monitor will benefit. Buyers whose displays only offer HDMI or USB-C video input should look at a different cable type.

DisplayPort 1.4 with 32.4 Gbps bandwidth

The single specification that decides fit is the DisplayPort 1.4 link rated at 32.4 Gbps. If your source and sink both support that standard, the cable will deliver the rated resolutions and refresh rates; otherwise it will fall back to a lower mode.
