PCIe 4.0 Oculink SFF-8611 4i male-to-male cable extends eGPU or NVMe connections up to 100cm with shielded signal integrity
This SMUGDESK SFF-8611 4i male-to-male adapter links Oculink-enabled devices at PCIe 4.0 speeds. It suits builders connecting an eGPU dock such as OneXGPU, a mini PC or a high-speed NVMe expansion module. The 100 centimetre length provides routing flexibility inside a chassis or between separate units. It is not for users who need a shorter internal ribbon or a different connector standard.
The cable follows the PCIe 4.0 transmission specification to maintain low-latency signalling during extended workloads. Multi-layer shielding reduces electromagnetic interference that can cause data loss or frame stutter during heavy gaming, 3D rendering or large file copies. Tight plugging tolerance on both male ends prevents loose contact and signal dropouts over long operating periods. It does not suit applications requiring active signal retiming beyond the passive specification.
As a passive copper assembly the adapter generates no heat of its own and adds no audible noise to the system. Power draw is limited to the signalling requirements of the linked PCIe 4.0 devices. The flexible wear-resistant jacket withstands repeated bending without internal wire breakage, preserving signal integrity in normal routing scenarios. It is not designed for environments exceeding standard consumer temperature ranges.

No published specifications for this item yet.
The cable is a passive shielded assembly with no active components, so it produces no noise and negligible heat during continuous PCIe 4.0 data transfer.
Both devices need an SFF-8611 4i Oculink female port; the cable plugs directly into each without additional converters.
Yes, the PCIe 4.0 cable is backward compatible and will carry PCIe 3.0 signals between the host and the NVMe enclosure at the enclosure's native speed.
