Adds eight USB 3.0 ports — two Type-C and six Type-A — at 5 Gbps to Intel, AMD or ARM desktops running Windows or Linux
SMUGDESK PCIe USB 3.0 expansion card adds eight high-speed ports to desktop mainboards. It provides two Type-C and six Type-A connectors, all running at 5Gbps. The card fits Intel, AMD and ARM platforms with a standard PCIe slot. Windows and Linux are supported; Mac OS is not supported.
The eight ports share a total 5Gbps bandwidth per port for external drives, cameras and peripherals. A dedicated USB controller chip keeps transfers steady under load. Bandwidth is divided when multiple devices run simultaneously, so sustained writes to several drives will saturate the link. Mac OS systems cannot use the card at all.
The card mounts in a regular PC case using its full-height metal bracket and a single PCIe slot. No external power connector is required for typical peripheral loads. It solves the common shortage of onboard USB ports without occupying drive bays. Builders needing internal headers or Mac compatibility must look elsewhere.

Yes, it fits standard PCIe slots on Intel, AMD and ARM desktop mainboards, so a PCIe 3.0 slot will accept the card and provide the 5Gbps bandwidth.
Connect a USB 3.0 flash drive or external SSD, then check the reported link speed in Windows Device Manager or with lsusb -t on Linux; it should show 5Gbps for each active port.
The card ships with a standard full-height metal bracket already attached, ready for installation in a regular PC case.
