Extends a PCIe X1 slot with a flexible gold-plated ribbon cable supporting 8Gbps bandwidth for mining rig layouts
This PCIe X1 to X1 ribbon extension cable lets you reposition a card when the motherboard slot layout is too tight. It carries data at up to 8 Gbps through gold-plated connectors that resist signal loss during continuous operation. The flat ribbon wire keeps wiring tidy inside a mining frame or compact chassis. It works with Windows and Linux mining systems.
The straight X1-to-X1 design solves slot-position shortages on mining rigs and other boards where adjacent cards would collide. It is not suited for installations that need an angled or right-angle connector to clear nearby components. Users who require a powered riser with external auxiliary power will not find that feature here. The cable only extends the existing X1 electrical link.
The link tops out at 8 Gbps, matching the PCIe 3.0 X1 signalling rate. Cards that need higher lane counts or faster signalling will not gain extra throughput from this adapter. Check the card’s electrical requirement before buying.

Yes, it plugs straight into an x1 slot and extends it outward for the riser card.
The cable is rated for 8 Gbps, matching PCIe 3.0 x1 bandwidth, so the card operates at its normal rate.
The system should detect the card in BIOS or OS device manager with no PCIe link errors reported.
