The SonicWall TZ 380 is a desktop security appliance built for small organisations and lean branch offices. It delivers stateful inspection at 3.5 Gbps and threat-prevention throughput at 1.5 Gbps while supporting up to 1,100,000 concurrent connections. The unit runs SonicOS 8 and includes SD-WAN, zero-touch deployment and centralised management via Network Security Manager.

Verify uplink speed and SFP module needs

Confirm your WAN circuit does not exceed the appliance’s 3.5 Gbps inspection ceiling or the 1.5 Gbps threat-prevention limit. The box provides eight 1 GbE copper ports and two multi-rate SFP cages that accept 5 G, 2.5 G or 1 G transceivers.
