EU-to-US plug adapter, 2 pack

Two Schuko CEE 7/7 male plugs convert to NEMA 5-15R female sockets so equipment with US-style cords can connect to European mains outlets. Each unit is rated at 16 A and 250 V AC with a 4.8 mm pin diameter and a 4000 W maximum power handling. The black PVC and phosphor-bronze housing carries CE and RoHS marks and weighs 80 g for the pair.

Replaces loose travel converters

The adapter substitutes bulky multi-plug travel kits when the only need is a physical socket change for dual-voltage hardware such as laptop or phone chargers. The step up is worth it when every device in the bag already supports 110 V to 250 V operation and no voltage conversion is required.

Fits into a fixed wiring or PDU chain

The male Schuko end plugs directly into a European wall socket, PDU or UPS outlet while the female NEMA end accepts a standard US three-prong cord. No rewiring or tools are needed and the compact body leaves adjacent outlets free for other connections.

Questions about this item

Will the 4.8 mm CEE 7/7 male plug fit a standard European Schuko wall socket?

Yes, the 4.8 mm CEE 7/7 male plug is designed for standard European Schuko sockets.

How do I install the adapter, and what is the common mistake to avoid?

Insert the Schuko plug fully into the wall outlet, then plug your US device into the NEMA 5-15R socket. Do not assume the adapter converts voltage; your device must support both 110 V and 240 V.

When should I replace the adapter?

Replace it if the housing cracks, pins become loose or discoloured, or after any overheating event. The unit is rated for 16 A at 250 V AC.
