Two-Pack Travel Adapter for EU Sockets

This pair of adapters converts a European CEE 7/16 male plug into a US NEMA 5-15R female outlet, letting travellers from the USA or Canada connect their devices while visiting Europe. Each unit is moulded from PVC with pure copper contacts and rated for dual-voltage operation. The pack supplies two adapters for multiple devices or a spare.

Rated 2.5 Amps at 250 Volts on the European Side

When used with a European supply the adapter is limited to 2.5A at 250V, so high-draw appliances such as kettles or heaters exceed its capacity. The US-side rating is 10A at 125V, but the lower European limit governs actual use abroad. The 4.0mm pins fit standard Euro sockets, yet the adapter provides no earth connection for three-pin plugs.

Replaces Single Adapters or Hotel Loaners

Carrying two units removes the need to move a single adapter between phone, laptop and camera chargers throughout the day. It also avoids reliance on hotel reception stock or airport mark-ups. The step up is worthwhile whenever a trip involves more than one US-plug device or when a backup ensures uninterrupted charging.

Questions about this item

How do I choose between the two adapters in the pack?

Both adapters are identical CEE 7/16 male to NEMA 5-15R female units, so either one works for the same devices; the second provides a spare for another outlet or travel bag.

What does the 10 A 125 V / 2.5 A 250 V rating mean when I plug it in?

In North America the adapter carries up to 10 A at 125 V, while in Europe it is limited to 2.5 A at 250 V, so check your device's current draw against the local limit.

Which plug standard does the CEE 7/16 to NEMA 5-15R interface support?

It converts a European 2-pin 4.0 mm male plug into a US 3-pin NEMA 5-15R female socket, allowing North American devices to connect to European outlets.
