Compact wall-mount rack for small IT deployments

The Tripp Lite SRW6U is a 6U, 19-inch wall-mount cabinet that holds standard rackmount gear in tight spaces. It ships fully assembled so installers can hang it and load equipment without building a frame first.

Holds 140 lb of gear up to 16.5 in deep

Adjustable front rails accept up to 6U of equipment with a maximum depth of 16.5 inches and a tested load limit of 140 lb. The 200 lb structural rating provides margin for heavier static loads, but the usable capacity stops at the lower figure.

Locking steel body with flow-through vents

Vented sides, front door, top and bottom create passive airflow across the installed hardware. A reversible locking front door and removable locking side panels give secure access from either side, while the sturdy wall bracket keeps the 14.5 by 23.5 by 17.5 inch enclosure firmly mounted.

Questions about this item

Will the adjustable front rails and 16.5 in. depth fit my existing 19 in. patch panel and short-depth switch?

Yes. The rails accept standard 19 in. rackmount gear and the cabinet secures equipment up to 16.5 in. deep, so a patch panel and typical short-depth switch will mount without issue.

How can I confirm the flow-through ventilation is keeping my gear cool once the door and side panels are locked?

The front door and side panels are vented at sides, front, top and bottom; after powering on, check that exhaust air exits the top and rear vents and that equipment temperatures stay within their normal operating range.

Does the box include the wall-mount bracket and all mounting hardware, or do I need to buy lag bolts and a caster kit separately?

The cabinet ships fully assembled with the sturdy wall-mount bracket included; lag bolts for your wall type are not supplied, and the SRCASTER rolling kit is an optional accessory sold separately.
