  • 160 m² coverage with 8 spatial streams ensures strong signal across large spaces

  • 6 GHz, 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz bands with MU-MIMO enable fast roaming and band steering

Ceiling WiFi 7 access point

The Ubiquiti U7-PRO-XGS-B-US is a ceiling or wall mounted wireless access point built on the WiFi 7 standard with eight spatial streams. It delivers tri band coverage up to 160 m² and supports more than 500 simultaneous clients. The unit is powered exclusively through PoE++ and includes a 10 GbE uplink for high capacity backhaul.

High density environments and PoE++ only

This model suits offices, venues and campuses that need 6 GHz, 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz radios with MU-MIMO and advanced roaming features such as 802.11r, 802.11k and 802.11v. It is not for installations without PoE++ infrastructure, for outdoor deployment or for buyers who need a router, switch or built in controller in the same box.

10 GbE uplink and tri band WiFi 7

The single specification that decides fit is the 10 GbE uplink combined with tri band WiFi 7 radios rated at 5.8 Gbps on 6 GHz, 8.6 Gbps on 5 GHz and 688 Mbps on 2.4 GHz. If the wired backbone cannot use 10 GbE or the site does not require tri band 8 stream capacity, a different access point will be more appropriate.
