All-weather 4K PoE+ camera

This Ubiquiti G6 Pro Bullet is a 4K network camera built for outdoor surveillance. It delivers 3840 x 2160 resolution at 30 fps through a 1/1.2" CMOS sensor. The camera is aimed at installers who need a single PoE+ device with integrated AI detections for people, vehicles and animals. It includes wall, ceiling and pole mounting hardware in the box.

IP66 and IK04 enclosure with versatile mounts

The housing uses polycarbonate and aluminium alloy rated IP66 for dust and water resistance and IK04 for impact protection. A supplied wall mount extends the length to 210 mm while a pole mount is also included. One GbE RJ45 port handles both data and PoE+ power up to 15 W. A microSD slot allows local recording and a factory-reset button is accessible on the body.

Check PoE+ budget and IR range needs

Verify your switch or injector can supply PoE+ power for the 15 W maximum draw. The adaptive IR illumination reaches 40 m normally and up to 60 m with the Vision Enhancer accessory. Optical zoom is fixed at 2.36x, so confirm the 45.5° to 113.8° horizontal field of view suits the target area. Operating temperature spans -20 °C to 50 °C.

Questions about this item

What resolution does the GbE RJ45 port cap the 4K stream at in practice?

The Gigabit Ethernet link handles the full 3840 x 2160 stream at 30 FPS without throttling; the 15 W PoE+ budget is the only practical ceiling.

What mounting hardware is included for wall, ceiling or pole installation?

The box supplies a wall mount bracket and a pole-mount clamp; both attach to the camera base and the junction box or angled base are optional extras.

How is the camera adopted into UniFi Protect and which step is most often missed?

Connect the RJ45 cable to a PoE+ switch, wait for the LED to turn solid blue, then adopt the device in the Protect controller — skipping the firmware update prompt is the common mistake.
