Velztorm Pilum Gaming Desktop

The Velztorm Pilum is a pre-built gaming desktop powered by an 8-core AMD Ryzen 7 3700X processor and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Super graphics card with 6GB GDDR6 memory. It ships with 64GB of DDR4 RAM and a dual-storage layout comprising a 512GB PCIe NVMe SSD and a 2TB hard drive. Windows 10 Pro is installed on the 750W system.

Suited for 1080p gaming and multitasking

This configuration suits players targeting 1080p resolution with high settings and creators who need 64GB of memory for heavy multitasking or content workloads. The GTX 1660 Super lacks dedicated ray-tracing hardware, so buyers who want hardware-accelerated ray tracing or 1440p ultra performance should look at a different graphics tier. The single 802.11n Wi-Fi adapter may limit wireless throughput compared to newer standards.

Sustained-load thermal behaviour

The included 120mm AIO liquid CPU cooler helps the Ryzen 7 3700X maintain its boost clocks during extended sessions without excessive noise. The 750W power supply provides headroom for the GPU and CPU to draw full power continuously. With 64GB of DDR4 installed, the system avoids memory-pressure throttling in long rendering or compilation jobs.
