Velztorm Pilum desktop with Ryzen 7 3700X

This custom-built gaming desktop pairs an eight-core AMD Ryzen 7 3700X processor with 64GB of DDR4 memory and a 2TB PCIe NVMe SSD. It is aimed at enthusiasts who want strong multi-threaded performance and fast storage in a ready-to-use Windows 10 Pro system.

Sustained load on the 1660 Super

The NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Super with 6GB of GDDR6 handles extended gaming sessions while the 120mm AIO liquid cooler keeps the 3.6GHz to 4.4GHz processor stable under continuous multi-core workloads. The 750W power supply delivers consistent headroom for both components during long render or compile jobs.

64GB DDR4 decides the upgrade path

Memory slots are populated to 64GB, so buyers who need more capacity must replace modules rather than add them. The board uses DDR4 DIMMs only; any other generation will not fit.

Questions about this item

How loud and hot does the 750W power supply and 120mm AIO liquid cooler keep the Ryzen 7 3700X during all-day gaming sessions?

The 120mm AIO liquid CPU cooler manages heat from the 8-core Ryzen 7 3700X, while the 750W supply delivers stable power to the GTX 1660 Super and 64GB DDR4 without extra noise.

Which monitor cables and display inputs must I already own to use the GTX 1660 Super video outputs?

The graphics card provides one HDMI and one DisplayPort connection, so a compatible monitor cable for either interface is required to get a picture.

Will my existing USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 peripherals work with the front and rear ports on this desktop?

Yes, the system includes four USB 2.0 ports, five USB 3.0 Type-A ports, one USB 3.1 Gen1 Type-A and one USB 3.1 Type-C Gen1 port for backward-compatible connectivity.
