Built for High-Resolution Gaming

This Velztorm Pilum desktop pairs an eight-core Ryzen 7 3700X processor with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 graphics card. Sixty-four gigabytes of DDR4 memory and a combined 1TB PCIe NVMe SSD plus 1TB hard drive provide capacity for large game libraries and multitasking workloads. The system ships with Windows 10 Pro installed.

Verify Power and Port Requirements

Confirm your mains supply can deliver 750W to the included power supply unit. Check that your display uses HDMI or DisplayPort inputs, as these are the only video outputs provided. Ensure you have an available RJ-45 jack or 802.11n wireless network for connectivity. No optical drive is fitted, so physical media cannot be read.

Sustained Load Thermal Behaviour

A 120mm AIO liquid cooler handles the CPU during extended sessions, keeping clock speeds stable when all eight cores remain active. The RTX 3070 with 8GB GDDR6 maintains frame rates in prolonged 1440p gaming without thermal throttling. Case airflow is designed to exhaust heat from both the processor and graphics card continuously.

Questions about this item

Does the Velztorm Pilum arrive with the 1TB PCIe SSD and 1TB HDD already installed, or do I need to add storage myself?

The desktop ships with both the 1TB PCIe SSD and the 1TB 3.5-inch HDD pre-installed, so no additional drives are required for the listed capacity.

Should I choose the Ryzen 7 3700X at 3.6 GHz or the 5700X at 3.40 GHz for this Pilum build?

This specific listing uses the Ryzen 7 3700X with a 3.6 GHz base clock and 4.4 GHz boost; the 5700X is offered on a different configuration.

What does the 750W power supply mean for running the RTX 3070 and 64GB of DDR4 in daily use?

The 750W unit provides enough headroom for the RTX 3070, 8-core CPU, 64GB DDR4 and both drives under typical gaming loads.
