Velztorm Pilum Gaming Desktop

The Velztorm Pilum is a pre-built gaming desktop powered by an AMD Ryzen 7 3700X 8-core processor with 32GB DDR4 memory. It combines a 512GB PCIe SSD and a 2TB HDD for fast boot and bulk storage. An NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Super graphics card with 6GB GDDR6 drives the visuals. A 750W power supply and a 120mm AIO liquid cooler support the components in a black chassis.

Target user and limitations

This system suits gamers who want a ready-to-play Windows 10 Pro machine with strong multi-core performance and dual-drive storage. It includes 802.11n Wi-Fi, Ethernet, HDMI, DisplayPort and multiple USB 3.1, 3.0 and 2.0 ports. Buyers who need Bluetooth or a newer wireless standard should consider other options. The GTX 1660 Super targets 1080p gaming rather than higher resolutions.

Deciding specification

The graphics card is the component that defines whether this PC matches your needs. The GTX 1660 Super with 6GB GDDR6 delivers solid frame rates at 1080p in modern titles. If your workflow or games demand more video memory or higher rasterisation performance, a different GPU tier is required.

Questions about this item

What are the physical dimensions and mounting requirements for the 120mm AIO liquid CPU cooler?

The system includes a 120mm AIO liquid CPU cooler with RGB lighting. It mounts to the AM4 socket used by the Ryzen 7 3700X and requires a single 120mm fan location in the chassis for the radiator.

How is the 512GB PCIe NVMe SSD installed, and what step is commonly missed?

The 512GB PCIe NVMe SSD installs directly into an M.2 slot on the motherboard. The step often missed is removing the protective sticker and securing the drive with the small retention screw before closing the case.

What maintenance or replacement will the 120mm AIO liquid CPU cooler need later?

The 120mm AIO liquid CPU cooler is a sealed unit that requires no fluid maintenance. Over time the pump or fan may wear out; if temperatures rise, the entire cooler assembly would be replaced with another compatible 120mm AIO unit.
