Velztorm Pilum Gaming Desktop

The Velztorm Pilum is a pre-built gaming desktop aimed at players who want a balanced system for 1080p titles and everyday multitasking. It ships with Windows 10 Pro installed and includes a 750W power supply, RGB liquid CPU cooling and a black chassis. Wireless 802.11n and wired Ethernet give basic network connectivity.

16GB DDR4 and dual-drive storage

Sixteen gigabytes of DDR4 memory handles current games and background apps without bottlenecking the eight-core Ryzen 7 3700X. The 512GB PCIe NVMe SSD provides fast boot and load times while the 2TB hard drive adds bulk capacity for media libraries. Heavy content creation or future titles needing 32GB will exceed the installed RAM headroom.

GTX 1660 Super 6GB GDDR6 limits

The GeForce GTX 1660 Super delivers 6GB of GDDR6 video memory and supports DirectX 12, G-SYNC and VR-ready output over HDMI and DisplayPort. It comfortably runs modern esports and many AAA games at high settings in 1080p. Demanding ray-traced workloads or 1440p ultra settings exceed the GPU's practical frame-rate ceiling.

Questions about this item

Will the Ryzen 7 3700X and GTX 1660 Super work with my existing DDR4 memory if I add it?

The system already uses 16GB DDR4. You can add more DDR4 DIMMs up to the motherboard limit, but speeds will match the slowest module installed.

How can I verify the GTX 1660 Super is running at full performance after setup?

Check GPU-Z or Task Manager to confirm the card shows 6GB GDDR6 and PCIe x16 link width. Run a DirectX 12 benchmark to validate clocks.

What accessories are included in the box and what must I buy separately?

The desktop includes the tower, power cord, and Windows 10 Pro licence. You must supply a monitor, keyboard, mouse, and any extra cables.
