Ryzen 7 3700X Desktop for Gamers and Creators

The Velztorm Pilum combines an 8-core Ryzen 7 3700X running up to 4.4 GHz with a GTX 1660 Super 6GB GDDR6 card, 32GB DDR4 memory and a 2TB NVMe SSD plus 6TB HDD for fast boot and mass storage. Windows 10 Pro is pre-installed and a 750W supply powers the build. RGB liquid cooling keeps the CPU steady under load.

Stepping Up from Entry Systems

This configuration replaces a basic quad-core rig with limited RAM and a single small drive. The jump is worth it when you need simultaneous gaming, streaming and heavy multitasking without hitting memory or storage bottlenecks. Builders who need a second graphics card or more than 6TB of mechanical space should look elsewhere.

Sustained Load Behaviour

The 120mm AIO liquid cooler maintains lower CPU temperatures during long sessions than a stock air cooler would. The 750W unit delivers stable power to the 8-core processor and GTX 1660 Super without throttling. DDR4 memory runs at rated speed continuously and the NVMe SSD keeps write performance consistent across large file transfers.

Questions about this item

What clearance does the 120mm AIO liquid CPU cooler need inside the case?

The 120mm AIO liquid CPU cooler fits a standard 120mm fan mount and requires enough space for the radiator and tubing to sit without kinking.

Which step is often missed when installing the GTX 1660 Super graphics card?

Connect the PCIe power cable from the 750W power supply to the GTX 1660 Super before closing the case, otherwise the card will not receive power.

When should the 120mm AIO liquid CPU cooler be replaced?

Replace the AIO cooler if pump noise appears, coolant leaks, or CPU temperatures rise above normal under load, typically after several years of continuous use.
