Two metal 3.5-inch SAS/SATA trays with screws fit Dell PowerEdge 11th to 14th Gen and PowerVault servers
This two-pack supplies metal trays that accept a single 3.5-inch SAS or SATA drive each. They are built for Dell PowerEdge servers across the 11th through 14th generations and matching PowerVault arrays. System administrators expanding hot-swap bays in rack or tower chassis use them to add mechanical drives quickly.
The caddies match part numbers F238F, 0F238F, X968D and related codes used in PowerEdge R230, R330, T330, R430, T430, R530, T630, R730, R730xd, R930 and earlier 12th and 11th generation models. The upgrade is worth it when a bay lacks a carrier or an original tray has bent rails that prevent clean insertion.
Each carrier holds one mechanical drive and includes mounting screws for secure attachment. The open-bottom design promotes airflow through the chassis front fans. It does not support 2.5-inch drives without a separate adapter, nor does it convert SAS signalling to SATA or provide RAID functionality.
Measured against everything we stock in SATA, IDE & M.2 Drive Adapters, at today’s prices. Recalculated every night.

The tray measures 9.06 inches long, so any Dell PowerEdge bay that accepts a standard 3.5 inch carrier will accommodate it.
Use the eight included mount screws; align the drive's bottom threaded holes with the bracket before sliding the assembly into the bay.
Replace the caddy if the metal bends, the screw threads strip, or the latch mechanism no longer locks securely in the server bay.
