Connects one MCIO x8 host to two U.2 NVMe SSDs with integrated 15-pin power at PCIe 4.0 speeds up to 128 Gb/s over 100 cm
This Vszerda cable connects a PCIe 4.0 MCIO x8 host port to two SFF-8639 U.2 NVMe drives. The 100 cm length suits full-tower server or workstation chassis where drives sit far from the backplane. It carries both data and 15-pin SATA power to each SSD.
Builders adding a pair of enterprise U.2 NVMe SSDs to a compatible HBA or motherboard MCIO connector will use this. It does not fit M.2 sockets, SATA-only backplanes, or systems lacking a 74-pin MCIO x8 interface. Buyers needing only one drive or a different connector should look elsewhere.
The link runs at 16 GT/s per lane for an aggregate 128 gigabits per second across eight lanes. It complies with SFF-TA-1016 and SAS standards and drops to PCIe 3.0 speeds when installed in older platforms.

The cable supports PCIe 4.0 at 16 GT/s across eight lanes, reaching 128 gigabits per second.
One 74-pin MCIO x8 SFF-TA-1016 plug, two 68-pin SFF-8639 U.2 receptacles and a 15-pin SATA power cable.
Connect the MCIO end to the motherboard, attach both U.2 drives, then plug the 15-pin SATA power lead — the power lead is the step most commonly forgotten.
