The Vszerda X7K8W is a metal hard-drive tray caddy designed for Dell PowerEdge servers from the 14th through 16th generations. It accepts a single 3.5-inch SAS or SATA drive and includes four mounting screws for secure installation in compatible rack and tower chassis.

SAS and SATA Interface Limits

The caddy passes through the native SAS or SATA interface of the installed drive without adding any protocol conversion. Throughput and command-set support are therefore bounded entirely by the drive itself and the server backplane, not by the bracket.

Single-Drive Capacity Headroom
