98-Key Wireless Mechanical Keyboard

The ZORNHER ZH980 is a 98-key wireless mechanical keyboard built for gamers and typists who want a full number pad in a compact 80% layout. It uses factory-lubed linear switches with a gasket mount for a creamy, audible keystroke feel. Tri-mode connectivity covers 2.4GHz wireless, Bluetooth 5.0, and USB-C wired operation. Hot-swappable sockets accept both 3-pin and 5-pin switches for easy customisation.

Compatibility Check Before Ordering

Verify that your operating system supports standard HID keyboard input for full key functionality without proprietary drivers. The board connects via a USB-C cable for wired use or the included 2.4GHz dongle for wireless use; ensure you have an available USB-A port for the receiver. Bluetooth 5.0 pairing requires host devices with compatible Bluetooth stacks. The hot-swap PCB is limited to MX-style mechanical switches only.

Thermals Noise and Power Draw

As a passive input device the keyboard generates no measurable heat and draws negligible power from the host when wired. The internal 4000mAh battery powers the 22 RGB lighting modes and wireless radio for extended sessions between charges. Acoustic output comes from the pre-lubed linear switches and gasket structure, producing a distinct creamy clack rather than a silent press. No active cooling or fan noise is present.

Questions about this item

Does the box include a USB-C cable and a 2.4 GHz receiver, or do I need to buy them separately?

The keyboard connects via USB-C wired, 2.4 GHz wireless, and Bluetooth 5.0. A USB-C cable and 2.4 GHz receiver are typically included for those modes; no separate purchase is required for standard operation.

Should I choose the 98-key white spider web version or the 870-series alternative?

This ZH980 model has a 98-key layout with number pad, arrow cluster, and function row. The ZH870 series uses a smaller 80% layout without the number pad. Pick ZH980 if you need the full key set.

What does the 4000 mAh battery mean for daily wireless use?

The 4000 mAh cell powers the keyboard in 2.4 GHz or Bluetooth 5.0 modes. Actual runtime depends on RGB brightness and usage intensity; the battery is recharged via the USB-C port when wired.
