16-inch WUXGA 165Hz gaming laptop

The ASUS ROG Strix G16 G615JMR pairs a 16-inch WUXGA IPS-level panel at 165 Hz with an Intel Core i9-14900HX 24-core processor and NVIDIA RTX 5060 graphics. Sixteen gigabytes of DDR5 5600 memory and a 1 TB PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD complete the core specification. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed.

Thermal compound upgrade from stock paste

HIDevolution replaces the factory CPU paste with Thermal Grizzly Conductonaut and applies Gelid GC Extreme to the GPU. The liquid-metal and high-conductivity compounds lower peak temperatures under sustained load compared with standard thermal interface material. The improvement matters most during extended gaming or rendering sessions where stock paste can degrade.

Suited for high-refresh competitive play

Buyers who want a 165 Hz WUXGA screen, 24-thread CPU performance and RTX 5060 8 GB GDDR7 graphics in a 6.02 lb chassis will fit this profile. Users needing more than 16 GB memory, a larger SSD or a higher-wattage GPU should evaluate alternative configurations.
