Ready-to-play gaming desktop

The ASUS ROG Strix Helios GX601 White arrives assembled and tested with Windows 11 Home installed. A 12-core Ryzen 9 9900X running at 4.4 GHz pairs with an RTX 5070 Ti carrying 16 GB of GDDR7 memory. 128 GB of DDR5 fills all four slots, while a 1 TB NVMe SSD and a 2 TB SATA III HDD provide mixed storage. The system targets enthusiasts who want high-frame-rate gaming and heavy multitasking without building from parts.

360 mm liquid cooling and 850 W supply

A 360 mm liquid cooler handles the Ryzen 9 9900X thermals under sustained loads. The 850 W power supply feeds the GPU and CPU combination with headroom for transient spikes. Fan curves stay quiet at idle and ramp smoothly when the RTX 5070 Ti pushes pixels. The white chassis uses tempered glass panels and RGB lighting that syncs through ASUS Aura software.

Wi-Fi, RGB software and dual-drive layout

Onboard Wi-Fi connects the desktop to networks without cables. ASUS Aura software controls zone lighting across the case, cooler and compatible peripherals. The 1 TB NVMe drive keeps the OS and active titles responsive, while the 2 TB HDD stores larger media libraries. All four DDR5 slots are populated, so future memory upgrades require module replacement rather than simple addition.

Questions about this item

How do I maintain the 360mm liquid cooler on this Ryzen 9 9900X system?

The 360mm liquid cooler is a sealed unit that requires no refilling. Dust the radiator fins and fans every few months to keep airflow clear for the 12-core CPU.

When will the 850W power supply need replacement under heavy GPU load?

An 850W unit powering the RTX 5070 Ti and 12-core CPU typically lasts several years; replace it if you hear coil whine or experience random shutdowns during sustained gaming.

What thermal limit appears first on the RTX 5070 Ti during long sessions?

The GPU will hit its temperature target and reduce boost clocks before the 16GB GDDR7 memory or the 850W power supply become limiting factors.
