7-inch facial access terminal

The Audiovox zFace1701+ is a 7-inch touch-screen terminal that combines face recognition, IC card reading and visual intercom functions for office access control. It stores up to 10000 face templates and 10000 IC cards while logging 300000 event records. IP65-rated housing protects the unit for indoor or sheltered outdoor installation. The device suits businesses needing a single door station with video calling and remote unlocking.

Verify network and power before ordering

Confirm that your site provides a wired TCP/IP connection for the terminal; optional WiFi is available only if the specific module is fitted. The unit also accepts a USB flash drive for offline data transfer. Ensure the mounting location meets the IP65 environment rating and that existing door hardware such as magnetic locks or alarms can be wired to the terminal's relay outputs. No fingerprint reader is included, so plan for face or card credentials only.

Replaces standalone readers and audio intercoms

This terminal upgrades installations that currently use separate proximity readers and audio-only intercoms by merging visual verification, access control and intercom in one housing. The jump is worthwhile when you need a 10000-user face database, 300000-event logs and the ability to link indoor units or wireless doorbell receivers for one-touch calling and remote door release. It does not suit sites requiring fingerprint authentication or multi-door controllers not supported by the built-in relays.

Questions about this item

What accessories are included with the zFace1701+ and what must be purchased separately?

The terminal includes the 7-inch touch-screen unit and mounting hardware. Door magnets, alarm modules, indoor intercom units and wireless doorbell receivers are sold separately for linkage functions.

Which capacity version of the zFace1701+ should I choose for a site with up to 10000 users?

The single version supports 10000 facial templates, 10000 IC cards and 10000 user profiles, covering the stated requirement without additional licences.

How does the 300000-record log perform in daily operation on the zFace1701+?

The buffer stores 300000 events locally and synchronises over TCP/IP, USB flash drive or optional WiFi, so attendance and access history remain available even during network downtime.
