Cat6a 10 Gigabit patch cable

This 25 ft purple Cat6a Ethernet cable provides a 10 Gigabit wired link for gaming consoles, desktop PCs, NAS units and office gear. It uses 24 AWG stranded bare copper conductors in a four-pair cross-spline construction with 50-micron gold-plated RJ45 contacts. The snagless molded boots protect the locking clips during routing and daily handling. It is RoHS compliant and UL & ETL Verified.

500 MHz bandwidth and 100 metre reach

The cable meets the Cat6a standard at 500 MHz and supports 10GBASE-T up to 100 metres, so a 25 ft run has ample headroom for full 10 Gigabit throughput. It is backward compatible with Cat6 and Cat5e networks, allowing a drop-in upgrade without replacing switches or routers. The unshielded UTP design keeps the cable flexible for desk and console setups. At longer runs the 10 Gigabit rating remains valid to the full 100 metre limit.

Unshielded UTP construction

Because the cable is unshielded UTP it installs easily in tight cable-management channels and around corners without the stiffness of shielded alternatives. Buyers who need shielded cable for high-EMI environments or outdoor burial should select a different construction. The 6.9 mm outer diameter fits standard keystone jacks and patch panels. It terminates in standard RJ45 connectors on both ends for universal equipment compatibility.

Questions about this item

Will this 25ft Cat6a cable work with my existing Cat6 router and Cat5e switch without replacing them?

Yes, the cable is backward compatible with Cat6 and Cat5e equipment, so it drops straight into your current network and negotiates the highest speed both ends support.

How can I confirm the cable is delivering 10GBASE-T performance after I plug it in?

Check the link speed in your router, switch or PC network settings — it should show 10 Gbps (10GBASE-T) when both connected devices support that rate.

Does the 25ft purple cable come with both RJ45 ends attached, or do I need to buy connectors separately?

Both ends are factory-terminated with 8P8C RJ45 connectors featuring 50-micron gold-plated contacts and snagless molded boots — nothing extra is required.
