Rugged 14 laptop for field work

The DELL Latitude 5424 is a new 14.0-inch rugged notebook built to military-grade standards for harsh environments. It targets professionals who need a durable mobile workstation that withstands vibration, dust and temperature extremes while delivering full Windows 10 Pro productivity. The non-touch FHD display is designed for direct sunlight readability.

Simple deployment with sealed ports

Windows 10 Professional 64-bit comes pre-installed on the 512 GB SSD so the system is ready to use after the first boot. The chassis uses sealed connectors and a ruggedised frame; installation issues usually arise when third-party docks or cables do not match the protected USB 3.0, USB Type C, HDMI, DisplayPort, serial and RJ-45 interfaces. The Dell OEM charger is included in the box.

32 GB DDR4 memory and 512 GB SSD capacity

The 32 GB DDR4 configuration provides ample headroom for multitasking, virtual machines and large datasets in field applications. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620 handles standard business visuals and external monitors up to 1920 x 1080. The 512 GB solid-state drive offers fast boot and load times but fills quickly with offline maps, media libraries or local databases; users needing more storage must add external drives. Buyers who want a touchscreen or discrete graphics should consider other models.
