Latitude 5590 14" Touch Ultrabook

The Dell Latitude 5590 is a 14.0-inch touchscreen ultrabook built for mobile professionals. It runs Windows 11 Pro on an 8th Gen Intel Core i7-8650U quad-core processor with 16 GB DDR4 RAM and a 512 GB SSD. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620 drives the 1920 x 1080 IPS panel.

Suits single-device workers.

This configuration suits users who need a durable, portable machine for office applications, video calls and light content viewing. The 16 GB memory and 512 GB solid-state drive handle multitasking and fast boot times. Buyers who require a dedicated graphics card for 3D rendering, CAD or gaming should look at a different class of system.

Quad-core i7-8650U with 16 GB soldered DDR4

The deciding specification is the 8th Gen Intel Core i7-8650U paired with 16 GB of DDR4 memory. This quad-core, eight-thread CPU reaches 4.20 GHz turbo and provides enough throughput for typical business workloads. If your software demands more cores, higher sustained clocks or upgradeable memory, this processor and memory combination will not meet those requirements.
