Rugged 14 field laptop

The DELL Latitude 5424 is a 14.0-inch rugged notebook built for harsh environments and outdoor work. It runs Windows 10 Pro on an Intel Core i5-8350U quad-core processor with 32 GB DDR4 memory and dual M.2 SSD storage totalling 1 TB plus 256 GB.

Ready to deploy

The unit arrives fully assembled with the operating system installed, so no internal hardware installation is required. The rugged chassis uses specialised materials and sealed ports; forcing connectors or skipping the port covers can compromise the ingress protection that the design depends on.

Check power and peripherals

Verify that your AC adapter matches the Dell OEM charger supplied with the laptop. Confirm that any external displays use HDMI or DisplayPort inputs and that serial or RJ-45 cables match the available ports on this model.
