Latitude 5590 dual-drive touchscreen

The Dell Latitude 5590 is a 14.0-inch business ultrabook with a Full HD IPS touchscreen and a dual-drive layout combining a 256 GB M.2 SSD with a secondary 1 TB SSD. An 8th Gen Intel Core i7-8650U quad-core processor and 8 GB of DDR4 RAM drive everyday workloads under Windows 10 Pro.

Mobile professionals needing touch

The touchscreen and twin solid-state drives suit field staff who annotate documents on the move and keep large project files offline. Buyers who want more memory or a discrete graphics chip should look at something else.

256 GB M.2 plus 1 TB secondary SSD

The primary 256 GB M.2 drive holds the operating system and active applications while the additional 1 TB SSD provides bulk storage without a spinning hard disk. This two-drive arrangement is the specification that decides whether the storage layout matches the user’s workflow.
