Built for harsh environments

The Dell Latitude 5424 Rugged is a 14.0-inch laptop engineered to withstand tough conditions with military-grade construction and a sunlight-viewable FHD display. It targets field workers and mobile professionals who need reliable operation outdoors or in industrial settings where standard laptops would fail.

Fixed internal configuration

This unit ships with Windows 11 Pro pre-installed on a dual-storage layout of 128GB M.2 and 2TB M.2 SSDs alongside 8GB DDR4 memory soldered to the board. No user-accessible slots are available for memory or storage upgrades, so the specification you order is permanent.

Check port and power needs

Verify that your peripherals match the provided USB 3.0, USB Type-C, HDMI, DisplayPort, Serial and RJ-45 connections before ordering. The system relies on its internal 6- or 9-cell battery packs with optional hot-swap capability, so confirm the included Dell OEM charger suits your regional power supply.
