Built for field work

The Dell Latitude 5424 Rugged is a 14.0-inch laptop designed to survive harsh environments. Its chassis passes military-grade testing for shock, vibration and extreme temperatures. A 10-point touchscreen works with gloves on and stays readable in direct sunlight. It targets professionals who need a reliable Windows 10 Pro machine outdoors or in industrial settings.

Upgrade from fragile ultrabooks

Standard business notebooks crack or overheat when exposed to dust, rain or drops. This rugged frame replaces them when downtime costs more than the price premium. The jump is worth it for crews who move between vehicles, job sites and warehouses daily. Office-only users gain no benefit from the extra bulk and sealing.

Storage headroom for local data

Dual M.2 drives provide 256 GB plus 2 TB of solid-state capacity. That combination holds operating system, applications and large project files without external drives. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620 handles 2D CAD, mapping software and video playback. Heavy 3D rendering or modern gaming will exceed the graphical headroom.
