Professional mobile workstation

The DELL Latitude 5590 delivers an 8th Gen Intel Core i5-8350U quad-core processor with 32 GB DDR4 memory for office multitasking and light creative work. A 15.6" FHD IPS panel at 1920 x 1080 provides clear visuals for documents and web sessions. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620 handles standard display output without discrete GPU overhead. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed for immediate deployment.

Dual-drive storage flexibility

A 256 GB M.2 primary drive and a 2 TB secondary SSD combine fast boot times with high-capacity local file storage. The dual-drive layout lets users separate the operating system from project data or backups. Wi-Fi 4 and Bluetooth connectivity support wireless peripherals and network access. HDMI and DisplayPort over USB Type-C enable dual external monitors for expanded desktop space.

Straightforward setup with port variety

Three USB 3.1 Gen1 ports, one with PowerShare, plus a USB Type-C port cover most peripherals without adapters. VGA and HDMI outputs suit legacy and modern projectors alike. An SD slot and optional SIM tray add media and mobile data options. Buyers needing Thunderbolt certification or a touchscreen should verify the optional Thunderbolt configuration and non-touch panel before purchase.

Questions about this item

Can the 32 GB DDR4 memory be upgraded later?

The 32 GB DDR4 is the maximum configuration offered for this Latitude 5590, so no further RAM upgrade is possible.

What limits sustained performance on the Core i5-8350U?

The 15 W quad-core processor will hit its thermal ceiling before the 3.60 GHz turbo can be held for long periods.

How loud and hot does the 15.6" FHD Ultrabook get under all-day load?

The thin 0.9" chassis relies on a single fan; expect audible airflow and warm keyboard deck during continuous heavy work.
