Built for harsh environments

The Dell Latitude 5424 Rugged is a new 14.0-inch laptop constructed with specialised materials and a chassis tested to military-grade standards. It targets field workers, emergency responders and mobile professionals who need a device that survives drops, vibration, dust and direct sunlight while running Windows 11 Pro.

Sustained workload profile

The quad-core Intel Core i7-8650U processor reaches 4.20 GHz and includes 8 MB L2 cache, paired with 32 GB DDR4 memory and Intel UHD Graphics 620. This combination handles typical business applications and multi-tab browsing continuously, while the dual SSD layout (128 GB + 2 TB) keeps the system responsive during long shifts without thermal throttling.

Before ordering

Verify that your workflow relies on integrated graphics only, as no discrete GPU is present. Confirm the USB 3.0, USB Type-C, HDMI, DisplayPort, serial and RJ-45 ports match your peripheral and docking requirements. Note that WWAN, LTE and GPS modules may not be included, and the hot-swap bridge battery is an optional accessory.
