Purpose-built rugged notebook

The Dell Latitude 5424 is a 14.0-inch semi-rugged laptop designed for field professionals who need a device that survives drops, vibration, dust and direct sunlight. It ships new with Windows 11 Pro, a quad-core Intel Core i5-8350U processor, 32 GB DDR4 memory and a 512 GB SSD.

Suited for mobile field work.

Workers in utilities, public safety, logistics or manufacturing will value the sunlight-viewable FHD non-touch display, integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620, HDMI, DisplayPort, serial port, RJ-45 and USB 3.0 plus USB Type-C connectivity. Buyers who need discrete graphics performance, a touchscreen or a lighter ultrabook should consider other form factors.

The semi-rugged 14.0-inch FHD non-touch chassis

The defining specification is the 14.0-inch 1920 x 1080 non-touch display housed in a tested rugged frame; it determines whether the notebook can operate in the outdoor and industrial environments this series targets.
