Target device and user

The Dell Latitude 5590 is a 15.6 inch Full HD touchscreen ultrabook running Windows 11 Pro. It suits professionals who need a responsive display and 32 GB of DDR4 memory for multitasking. The integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620 handles everyday business visuals. The 512 GB SSD provides fast boot and application loading.

Setup checks before ordering

Verify that your workflow relies on integrated graphics rather than a discrete GPU. Confirm that the USB 3.1 Gen1 and USB Type-C DisplayPort connections match your peripherals. Ensure the optional Thunderbolt capability aligns with any docking requirements. The SIM tray is optional on this unit.

Thermals noise and power

The quad-core i5-8350U runs at 1.7 GHz with a turbo up to 3.60 GHz inside a slim 0.9 inch chassis. Typical office workloads keep fan noise low and surface temperatures comfortable. The 4.19 lb weight reflects a compact design that balances portability with sustained performance. Power draw stays modest under normal business use.

Questions about this item

Does the laptop ship with a power adapter and are any peripherals required separately?

The unit includes the laptop with Windows 11 Pro installed, 32 GB DDR4 RAM and a 512 GB SSD already fitted. A power adapter is standard in the box; no extra memory, storage or operating-system licence needs to be purchased.

Should I choose the 32 GB DDR4 RAM and 512 GB SSD configuration or a smaller option?

This model is supplied with the maximum 32 GB DDR4 RAM and a 512 GB SSD. If your workloads involve heavy multitasking or large local datasets, this configuration avoids a later upgrade; lighter users could opt for a lower-specification unit instead.

What does the Intel UHD Graphics 620 integrated GPU mean for everyday performance?

The Intel UHD Graphics 620 handles office applications, web browsing and 1080p video playback smoothly on the 15.6" FHD IPS touchscreen. It is not intended for modern 3D gaming or GPU-accelerated rendering workloads.
