Dell Latitude 5490 overview

The Dell Latitude 5490 is a 14.0 inch business laptop running Windows 10 Pro. It is aimed at professionals who need a portable system with 32GB of memory and a 256GB solid-state drive for everyday office tasks. The integrated Intel HD Graphics 620 handles standard productivity workloads.

Display and connectivity limits

The 1366 x 768 resolution panel provides a basic workspace suited to documents and web browsing but limits multi-window layouts. The specification lists zero USB ports, which restricts peripheral expansion unless a dock or hub is used. Bluetooth is available for wireless accessories.

Storage capacity detail

The solid-state drive offers 256GB of capacity, with the supplier noting the actual usable space may range between 240GB and 256GB. Buyers who require more local storage for large media libraries or virtual machines will need an external solution.
