What this laptop delivers

The Dell Latitude 5590 is a 15.6-inch Full HD business notebook powered by an 8th Gen Intel Core i7-8650U quad-core processor with 16 GB of DDR4 memory. It ships with Windows 10 Pro and a dual-drive layout that combines a 256 GB M.2 SSD with a 2 TB secondary SSD for fast boot and ample capacity.

Check your peripherals and power

The system provides HDMI, VGA, and DisplayPort over USB-C for external displays plus three USB 3.1 Gen 1 ports, one of which supports PowerShare for charging devices while the laptop sleeps. An RJ-45 jack, SD card slot, and optional SIM tray cover wired and mobile connectivity, while Wi-Fi 4 and Bluetooth handle wireless links.

How it fits a mobile workspace

Integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620 drives the 1920 x 1080 IPS panel and supports a second monitor without a discrete GPU. The 4.19 lb chassis measures 14.8 by 9.87 by 0.9 inches, so it slides into most 15-inch bags. Buyers who need Thunderbolt 3 certification or a touchscreen should look elsewhere.
