Business ultrabook with dual SSD

The Dell Latitude 5590 is a 15.6-inch touchscreen laptop built for mobile professionals who need reliable performance. It runs Windows 10 Pro on an 8th Gen Intel Core i7-8650U quad-core processor with 8 GB DDR4 memory. The chassis measures 14.8 inches wide by 9.87 inches deep and weighs 4.19 lbs.

256 GB M.2 plus 2 TB secondary storage

The primary 256 GB M.2 drive holds the operating system and active projects for fast boot and load times. A second 2 TB solid-state drive adds massive capacity for large media libraries, archives or local backups. Combined, the dual-SSD layout delivers both speed and headroom that single-drive ultrabooks cannot match.

Intel UHD Graphics 620 integrated GPU

Graphics output relies on the processor’s built-in Intel UHD Graphics 620, which drives the 1920 x 1080 IPS panel and external displays via HDMI or DisplayPort over USB-C. It handles office applications, video playback and light creative work, but it is not suited for 3D rendering, CAD or modern gaming workloads.

Questions about this item

Will the 256 GB M.2 primary SSD and 2 TB secondary SSD both be recognised by an older docking station?

The laptop provides USB 3.0, USB 3.1 Gen1 and a USB Type-C port with DisplayPort; any docking station using those interfaces will see both drives once Windows 10 Pro has loaded its storage drivers.

How can I confirm the Intel UHD Graphics 620 is driving the 1920 x 1080 IPS touchscreen at its native resolution after setup?

Open Settings > System > Display and verify the resolution shows 1920 x 1080, then open Device Manager > Display adapters and confirm Intel UHD Graphics 620 is listed without error codes.

Which accessories are included in the box and what must I buy separately to use the HDMI, VGA and SD card slot?

The laptop ships with the unit and its power adapter; HDMI cables, VGA cables and SD cards are not included and must be purchased separately.
