Built for Harsh Environments

The Dell Latitude Rugged 5424 is a 14.0 inch FHD touchscreen laptop designed to military-grade standards for field work. It ships new with Windows 11 Pro and an 8th Gen Intel Core i5-8350U quad-core processor running up to 3.60 GHz with 6 MB cache. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620 drives the 1920 x 1080 display while 8 GB DDR4 memory handles multitasking.

Suited for Mobile Field Workers

This unit suits technicians, engineers and first responders who need a durable touchscreen that works in direct sunlight and survives drops, vibration and extreme temperatures. The 10-point touch panel operates with gloves on. Buyers who need a lightweight ultrabook for office commuting or a high-performance mobile workstation for 3D rendering should look elsewhere.

Dual M.2 SSD Storage Configuration

The storage subsystem pairs a 512 GB M.2 drive with a 1 TB M.2 drive in a dual SSD layout. Both slots are occupied, so anyone who requires a single large volume or an empty slot for future expansion must verify this arrangement meets their workflow before purchase.
