Rugged 14-inch touchscreen laptop

The DELL Latitude 5424 is a military-grade notebook built for harsh environments with a 14.0-inch FHD touchscreen that works in direct sunlight and with gloves. It runs Windows 11 Pro on an 8th Gen Intel Core i5-8350U quad-core processor with 6MB cache and speeds up to 3.60 GHz. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620 handles visual output.

Fixed internal configuration

Memory and storage are pre-installed at 32GB DDR4 and a dual-drive layout of 512GB M.2 plus 1TB M.2 SSD, so no user installation is required. The sealed rugged chassis limits internal access, meaning upgrades or repairs need specialised disassembly. Wireless options include Wi-Fi, LTE 4G and dedicated GPS, though WWAN may not be included.

Dual 512GB plus 1TB SSD capacity

The combined 512GB and 1TB solid-state drives provide ample room for operating system, applications and large field datasets with fast access speeds. Heavy local video libraries or massive database replicas will eventually fill the total space. Integrated UHD Graphics 620 suits 2D productivity and video playback but not 3D rendering or GPU compute workloads.
