SATA III 6 Gbps cable with latch

This 18-inch SATA III data cable carries a straight 7-pin female connector on each end and a locking latch that prevents accidental disconnection. The red nylon-braided jacket protects the 26 AWG tinned copper conductors while adding a clean look inside the case. It supports the SATA 3.0 specification up to 6 Gbps and remains backwards compatible with SATA 1.0 and 2.0 ports. Only data signals are carried; power must be supplied separately.

Fits tight drive bays and clean cable runs

At 1.5 feet the cable reaches from motherboard SATA ports to 2.5-inch or 3.5-inch drives without excess slack that blocks airflow. The straight 180-degree connectors sit flush against the PCB, making it easier to route behind motherboard trays or along drive cages.
